Roberto Romagnoli´s departure from TV Azteca is confirmed. The TV station made a press release in which they make clear that the executive is stepping down from his position as Entertainment and Production VP as part of the company’s restructuring process.The statement says: “Roberto Romagnoli, in a mutual agreement with the company, today leaves TV Azteca´s Entertainment and Production Division due to personal reasons.” TV Azteca and Benjamín Salinas Sada, its general director, acknowledge Roberto Romagnolis contributions to the company and that is why he will remain in TV Azteca in spaces that will manage to make the most of his talent in new products.For TV Azteca this new stage is important because it marks “the beginning of an exploration process towards development and production of new contents.Romagnoli arrived at the TV station in 1999 to produce the talk show Cosas de la Vida with Rocío Sánchez Azuara and in 2004 separated from the company to join Telemundo as director of Entertainment Content.In 2005 he entered Televisa to produce Hoy Sábado and Muévete, and after, the daily broadcast Hoy. There he remained until 2010, the year when he was once again summoned by TV Azteca to take the position of Entertainment and Production VP.
